The most recent appellate decision in my client’s favor is in a case called Deanna Denny v. American Family. You can find it at the following link if you want to read the entire opinion.

I represented American Family in this coverage opinion, to determine the definition of 'off-road vehicle.” The Court of Appeals agreed with my argument that this term should be given its plain, dictionary meaning to be a vehicle not made for purposes of driving on public roads, but one which is specialized for off-road driving. My strategy in interpreting this particular policy was to narrow the issues carefully until my argument in front of the Court of Appeals was honed to the specific point in contention and the laws that effect it.
