I formed this firm as I enter a new phase of my professional life as an independent practitioner. I have a passion for the law and will serve with integrity.

PASSION FOR MEDIATION

In 2002, I earned a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Missouri-Columbia, because I have a passion for assisting others resolve conflicts. While sometimes it is imperative to advocate strongly for a client all the way through a jury trial, there are other times when a neutral voice is needed to calm emotions, evaluate all sides of legal issues and see the reasonableness of resolution. I can help people and their attorneys see the strengths and weaknesses of their case in order to make a thoughtful decision on the best course of action.

My recent acceptance into the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council will allow me to expand my services to a larger audience. This organization helps women entrepreneurs, in a variety of professions, to network and touch the lives of men and women in their community. I am excited to be a part of it!
